New Speaker Stand Paks from On-Stage Stands

On-Stage Stands has added two new speaker stand paks to their line of speaker stand products. The SSP7850 and SSP7950 each come with two height-adjustable speaker stands and one carry bag that holds both stands. Both stands are designed with a mid-point clutch that adjusts the height, locking/retractable tripod-style legs and come finished in black powder coat paint. But that is where the similarities end.

For starters, the pro-level SSP7950 pak comes with two easy-to-carry yet durable all-aluminum speaker stands with a reversible 1 3/8” or 1 ½” upper shaft design. The height can be adjusted in 6 pre-set positions from 44” to 80”. The bag is made from rugged padded nylon and includes a heavy-gauge 2-pull zipper as well as 2 carrying handles and an adjustable shoulder strap. This bag provides ample room for both speaker stands as well as other small accessories that need to tag along for a ride.

The speaker stands in the more affordable SSP7850 pak are constructed with an all-steel frame with a 1 -3/8” upper shaft and comes complete with a pair of exterior brackets to mount to your speakers. The height can be adjusted in 8 pre-set positions from 46” to 74”. The drawstring bag features an adjustable shoulder strap and two large pockets divide the interior of the bag to protect both stands from scratching each other.

The SSP7950 lists at $170, and the budget-conscious SSP7850 is a steal at $119. Both paks are scheduled for release by November 2006.
